Finally, Completion!

Hello to all,

I have finally completed publishing all the images from the last meeting. Sorry it took so long, but the computer here at work, and my internet connection, has been very buggy. I hope everyone is having a great coupla weeks of vacation before school restarts!

I've been having a lot of problems loading pictures recently, so I'm uploading less images in one post.

July 15th Meeting - First Artist

Once again I am not going to place a name with any of the art- but, I am changing the posts this time to be grouped by artist instead of model (since we had one model, and some people would rather have it this way).

A few missing pieces

Here is an image of Becky from the May 21st meeting that was "missing".

Re-cap of July 15th Meeting

Hello to all- I have finally found a little time at work to post about our July 15th meeting.

We had one model this time: Becky, who started us off with several 5 minute poses. We then went to a 10, and then a couple of 20s. We had a nice long hour pose at the end again. We didn't actually start until around 1:00 because we were waiting on some of our members to arrive.

The artists in attendence this time were: Sam, Robert, Claire, Nina, and Diane. We were very glad to welcome Robert to our meeting!

Pictures are soon to come!

Details and Directions

Here are the specifics for the drawing-date on July 15th 2006 12:00-3:00 pm at Wake Forest.

We will be meeting, once again, in the "chandelier library" of Guy T. Carswell Hall (it's actually the sociology dept grad library or something). Most of you attending already know where that is, but for those of you who don't know, the attached map should show you. This "library" can be found on the second floor of Carswell Hall. Don't confuse it with the first floor, because there is a basement.

What To Bring:

  • Sketchbook, or loose paper
  • Charcoal, or soft lead pencil
  • Drawing board or something hard to lean your book on (we have tables, but you might want to move your art supplies for a different angle).

Hope to see you all on July 15th!
